13-year-old organizes fashion show this Sunday!
Last year, 12-year-old Kate Reeve, at left, organized a fashion show in support of Roger’s House, an Ottawa-based children’s hospice. This year, now 13, she’s doing it again. Building on the success of last year’s Fashion for Funds, she hopes to raise more than last year’s total of $8,700 in support of Roger’s House.
The event takes place Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. at Glebe Community Centre. It features fashions by four Ottawa designers. Tickets — $10 for students; $20 for adults — will be available at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling 613-730-5074 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
